It’s been a while since I have given a blog update so here ya go…. I wanted to let everyone know what I am up to if you haven’t been following me on Twitter (if you’re not you should, make my life easier and do it). I have been busy working on my full length album with producer Mike Clink and we have about 3 more songs to record before we are all done, at this point not sure on a release date. In the meantime, I have been working on a new Christmas song I wrote called “Here Comes Christmas” which should be done in the next few days and released for purchase around the 1st of November. Besides that I have been in the studio working with a girl from Springfield Ill. named Elizabeth Eckert, she is known from being on American Idol and she is a radio personality on a top 40 radio station called Kiss Fm in Springfield. I am almost done with her new EP and the single called “You Lose” that I wrote with her and another girl I am working with named Hope Sonam should be out within the next few weeks on several top 40 stations, I will update you all with a list of stations so you can call a request it. Like I said a little while ago, I am working on another album with Hope Sonam. I met her at a Grammy event and was blown away with her talent for writing and worked with her on a couple tracks for other people and pulled her in to do back up vocals on some albums I produced also. The album is coming along great and I will keep you posted on the progress.

Back to my albums and the progress now… We are going to be launching a new website with all kinds of new features we are excited about including weekly podcasts where you can email me questions and every week I will answer your questions and it can be about anything from relationship advice, music, parents, addictions, etc.. Anything you want my thoughts on I will give it to you whether you like the answer or not… Keep your eye out for new updates and pics of me and the band and please follow on twitter if you want to know everything as it happens. I also recommend you follow my band members also so you can see what they are up to also and sometimes they vent about me so you can get all the juicy details and dirt!! Haha, until then…..

Brad in Martin Guitar mag + other happenings…

August 1st, 2009 at 5:40 pm by Pat Valley

Hey, this is Pat again. It’s been a long time since the last blog update…we’ve been busy finishing up songs for the album! The three songs we worked on most recently in LA with Mike are almost completed, and we’re getting ready to work on a few more. I can’t wait for you to hear these (do I even need to say that? I love hearing your reactions to new tunes). In our spare moments away from working on the album and doing shows, Brad’s been producing & writing songs for other artists (among other things) while I’ve been working with a rock n’ roll summer camp for kids called Camp Jam here in Atlanta. I’m happy to report that the next generation of rockers has a deep appreciation for the classics. Anyways, on to the main update…

Brad is featured in the July 2009 issue of The Sounding Board, Martin Guitar’s official magazine. Check it out…

Also, for the latest updates, be sure to follow Brad on Twitter at twitter.com/BradCoxMusic. See you all soon!
